Its official Im heading to the Brazos on the 15th. My dad will be here from Florida and Ill be taking him along with two friends. Should be a great trip. Hopefully the weather doesn't get bad.

I keep trying to talk my fishing partner(26 year old son)into making this trip for a couple of days but he found a new girlfriend and seems to have forgotten what fishing is.I think I understand this but it will wear off,I hope.Have a great time with your dad Daveg99.

I've got a son who will fish anytime, anywhere. And I have another son, his younger brother, who would't fish if I paid him, and he can use the money.

On a related note, though, I finally got the younger son to agree to a trip on the Brazos with me and his older brother, a Marine who gets out and comes home for good in January. An occasion like that means one thing; a trip with Shane.

Thanks, Shane. We're all stoked about it. That's why Dave will have a great time taking his dad out. As you know, it doesn't get much better than a father/son fishing trip.....
