I keep trying to talk my fishing partner(26 year old son)into making this trip for a couple of days but he found a new girlfriend and seems to have forgotten what fishing is.I think I understand this but it will wear off,I hope.Have a great time with your dad Daveg99.

I've got a son who will fish anytime, anywhere. And I have another son, his younger brother, who would't fish if I paid him, and he can use the money.

On a related note, though, I finally got the younger son to agree to a trip on the Brazos with me and his older brother, a Marine who gets out and comes home for good in January. An occasion like that means one thing; a trip with Shane.

Sounds like a great trip, Dave. Hope you guys nail the big fish. Either way, though, it will be a memory maker.

Thanks, Shane. We're all stoked about it. That's why Dave will have a great time taking his dad out. As you know, it doesn't get much better than a father/son fishing trip.....

....unless you have a daughter that can fish. woot
