I've been baiting a swim morning and evening startin Monday. Fished yesterday and caught 6 commons to 10 lbs, and had a near 15 pull off at the net. Left only because of rain.

Went today and caught 12 to 15 including several 10 pounders. Quit when I ran out of method. 8am til 2pm.

Will continue to bait the rest of the week. I plan to be out there again Friday morning, weather permitting.

I have become a tourist attraction with all my new fangled euro gear. I get a lot of questions out there. Love giving people more info on carp fishing. One guy even went home to get his wife to show her what I was doing..

I get that a lot as well. In fact, it happened when we were at W/R last weekend. I suddenly had the feeling someone was standing quietly behind me and turned around to see a woman and her husband staring at my bank sticks/alarms and murmuring to each other. She started asking me all kinds of questions about the setup and the method...um, method. People are always asking where I got my pod or alarms. They always say "Did you get that from Bass Pro?".

Still planning on going. Weather doesn't look too promising. May have to wait til rain pushes thru. The swim is at a place where small creek feeds into the lake. Moving water may perk them up even more.
