yeah! caught her on a topwater bread fly and fought her for 20 minutes!  somewhere between 15 and 20lbs more pics on the way

so how was the fight compared to other fish now that you have hooked a decent one ? well, she didnt run much, and stayed close to me almost the whole fight, I just couldnt lift her. these pics dont really give her enough justice

I had a chum line of bread and got a lot of channel cats up on the surface, I caught a little two pounder that made my chum line sink, so I threw out more. I immediatley saw a few smaller cruiser commons and after a while, I casted at one, it wasn't 5lbs...
