Hello everybody hope everyone had a great weekend. Another week is upon us and I hope to see you at the ramp Tuesday night. As the season starts to draw down I would like to continue Tuesday nights until at least the time change at the end of the month. Fishing is really starting to heat up and those big gals should be very active

Tuesday Night Tournament on Ray Hubbard

Dalrock Ramp

*Tournament Hours 6:00-9:30

$20 per boat (2 anglers max per boat)

3 Fish Limit (Largemouth, Spotted, and Small mouth bass over the length of 14”)
1 pound penalty for a dead fish
No culling of dead fish
No releasing of dead fish after weigh-in. You kill it you keep it!!!!

100% Payback

Anglers will launch in Flight’s of 10 depending on number of boats. When first flight gets to no wake zone under I-30 Nearest BPS, the second flight can go. When second flight gets to no wake zone under I-30 Nearest BPS third flight can go. So on and so on. Honor system

*Trailering will be allowed but only 10 minutes before launch at 5:50. Boats cannot leave the buoyed areas until 6:00 and cannot start fishing until 6:00. If you leave the buoyed area before 6:00 or start fishing before 6:00 you are immediately disqualified.

*Weigh-in-line opens at 9:30 and closes at 9:35. Anyone not in line by 9:35 with their fish will not be allowed to weigh their fish! This is going to be enforced so please make it in on time.

Life vests only save lives if they are worn, please wear them when on pad.

** Anglers should not encroach with in about 25 yards of an anchored tournament boat that has the trolling motor out of the water. The anchored boat cannot block access to public water. Please be RESPECTFUL!!!!

ANY ANGLER WANTING TO REPORT THE VIOLATION OF RULES BY ANOTHER ANGLER MUST BE DONE SO WITH A PROTEST! IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO FILE A PROTEST, than it cannot be that important and I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR IT!!!

I ASK THAT ALL Texas State Laws and all Federal Laws and Regulations are followed.

Weather may be an issue this week. Eric and I will be there weather permitting. Sooner or later I'll catch a decent fish!

Even if I were able to attend/donate, I wouldnt be able to catch a feeesh to weigh in.

guys the weather is not looking to promising, but i will be at the ramp rain or shine, as a matter of fact i will be at the ramp in the a.m. as well

Hey guys, with the lake rising and more rain expected tonight and tomorrow there will be many floaters out there on the lake. I think it would be in the best interest and safety of all anglers to check back here in the morning for an update. If the weather man is correct, and in the morning rain is still predicted it will be canceled. My number is 214-870-8383 call me and pass on the word!!!!

Rain shouldn't be the issue but the expected potential for severe weather is a diffent story. With high winds and the possibility for bad storms, definitely keep tabs on the post. I am all about having a good time regardless of rain but high winds with the chance of severe weather just isn't worth it. I am sure John will make the right call.

Rain is supposed to be moving in around 10:00 in the AM. Not sure what time it may clear out. Hopefully it gets up out of here before 6! If not, we live to fish another day.

I am going to cancel it for tonight. No point in putting people in danger with all the floaters that will be out tonight. If we are drawing more boats I would make the call at the ramp, but because it has been a low count the few that are showing up can make other plans. Sorry for those who wanted to fish hell or high water. See everyone next week.

i had a new guy from the forney bass club that was going to try to make it out tonight, i told him it was cancelled, but i think were going to make it out there anyhow......see yall next week

the storm has passed, but i dont think we would have a good show of people either way due to the nasty overcast

Well Eric and I went out for a couple hours this evening tournament or not. A little rain and a lot of wind. Of course, with no money on the line this happened.



Not a toad, but she was 4.15 on Eric's scale. Fun fish! Hopefully that happens on Saturday! And next Tuesday as well!
