Well looks like things are starting to shake loose. The water temps have dropped. Saw 68 degree water yesterday. Water clarity is fine. We are still over a foot low. The last week or so the fishing has picked up. Maybe our fish are getting used to all those boats buzzing around on top of their heads. Each day has been a little different depending on the weather. Cloudy days we have done well on topwater (spooks and pop-rs). Yesterday was the exception. You would have thought we would have caught fish all day on top, but only got one. Spinnerbaits and cranks are producing also. Catching a few fish shallow on flukes as well, but you need to be next to something. Some fish are starting to move back, but still seeing most of the bait in the mouths of the creeks. Being around timber has been key for us. Catching a few fish on beavers and brush hogs.

Here are a couple 5lbrs from the last few days.

Good luck out there this weekend.

Dannie
