Trying to select some jigheads for tie #6, my first swap. Do collarless heads make good handmade jigs or are they made for some other purpose? What heads make the best jigs, or is this yet another deal with crappie fishing that is a personal preference? I have been using collared heads while learning how to tie, so just wondering the difference b/t the 2.

collared jigheads work best for plastics. no collar works best for tying.
