no that is a common carp. grassers look like a minnow no barbels and darkish silver.

oh that was because i couldn't get a picture cause it was a flopping around so much... and yes i kept it the only one and definately the smallest carp that i've caught all year...i am also a catfisherman so i figured taking one under four pounds wouldn't hurt the overpopulated area i have been fishing lately...i hope nobody here is to ticked that i took one small one and i'm sorry if you guys are ticked.

Nope, nothing wrong with using smaller fish for bait or food. I plan on using a lot of small ones for gar bait.

I have always done catch and release but the shad are getting tougher to come by now days, maybe I will keep a smaller one just for some kittie fishing.
