Grandson (14 yr) and I launched at Koehne Park at 9am going after whites and anything else with them. Found some on Old Hwy 6 roadbed just a little ways north from launch. Caught 35 whites and the large crappie landed by grandson shown in picture. Left there to check out Lacy Point, but could not find them there working the drop-offs, which were in 20 ft dropping off to 25 or more. Not sure this was the part of Lacy to find them. We gave up and went to submerged dam. There was only one other boat there searching up and down the submerged dam. Didn't know where to look for "the bubbles", so we searced along the submerged dam and found fish at 2 places before being run in by rain and lightning at 2pm. Ended up with total of 70 fish: 66 whites, 3 crappie and a black bass. Most fish caught on #4 Mepps spinners and others on #2 and #3.
