Ok, still haven't found a job, neighbor just got laid off, temperatures are dropping a bit.
We are planning a trip to west Texas to fish the Pecos and Rio Grande in the portabote. Maybe a bit of lake Amistad.
I have seen unbelievably large carp on the Rio Grande in the spot I am thinking of camping out at.
Only problem is that it is WAY out in the middle of nowhere. But I think we are going to do it.

donny, i remember when zach called u a told u that he had just lost that fish and it look as big as a car hood. it was funny becouse after u hung up u waited a few minutes and said damn, a car hood, thats a beast and then we started laughing. that was all we talked about that afternoon.

Learned my lesson at Emma a couple weeks ago. Wasn't entered and got my PB buff, 37lb 13oz. I know that if entered it would be beat, but would have been fun to put something up to shoot at. Will be entering. Plan on long session at Emma at drawdown...
