As long as there is no excess heat where you store your powder, they should be fine. Best just to store them inside at room temp. Transfer what you need into a small bottle for easy use.
Don't forget that when heating jig heads for powder paint, the best heat source is: (at any hardware store or Home Depot or Lowes)

This will not produce smoke nor blackened your jig heads prior to dipping into the paint.
Another tool to consider is the Alcohol Burner: (there are various type, but this is the one that I've been using)

TIPS:....prior to dipping your heated jig heads into the paint, use a toothpick to stir up the powder well to creat a bluffy feel. This way, you will use very little amount of powder to paint your jig heads, and a thin coat will look great without any blob....
