Now we have Big Possum in, I think the others will speak up pretty soon, if not I will PM them. They may not have seen the post yet and we sure don't want to miss out on getting their jigs. Every jig I have received in the swaps is a winner and those guys tie some good ones for sure. I can think of others that are not listed yet... like Radtexan just for one

For those that may be getting in the Swap for the first time, I suggest you use this link and read the Jig Swap Guidelines so you will know what to expect. Then if you have any questions I will be happy to answer.

I have not even gotten my supplies together yet Crazy Angler. Went fishin' today and now I am so tired from fighting the wind tying is out of the question until I get rested. And, with the forecast of rain thru the weekend and all this next week I will have plenty of time to think on it.

hmmm I guess soon after 11/13/09...says she will PM her address on that date for mailing. hmmm

My favorite "muddy water" jig is the one I tied for the last swap, but I'll come up with a good replacement.

Ok BigDave1 is in and that's 20. Anyone else wanting to sign up needs to hurry, we will need to get some approvals, if everyone wants to tie more than that.

Let's make the deadline on 11/17/09 since I said email will go out with address on the 13th. I can change that if it is a problem with anyone. We are always a little flexible. Just would like to get jigs back to everyone before Thanksgiving. I will be ready to turn them around just as soon as I receive them.

Personally... i'd much rather leave it like it is at 20. for some it may become a big overhead if they have to tie up more than that.

Ok, putting RodneySr in as alternate in case someone needs to drop out. And Rodney, that has happened in the past. Keep up with the thread and I will send you a PM if anyone lets me know they need to drop out. We will have another swap after this one so watch for signing up.

Swap is filled up! Fantastic! We have RodneySr as alternate, so if anyone needs to drop out please let me know as soon as possible so I can let him know to get busy tying.

Please post a pic of your jigs before mailing them to me, I am not a good photographer, don't trust me to get good pics posted. scared rolfmao

I have already had requests for my address, seems some out there are fast fast fast. So, sending my address in PMs. Anyone else that is ready to mail that's fine with me, just let me know and I will send info.

Not sure yet... but I think I'm going with this one for the swap... it's called "Red Top Lady." hey, the swapmeister needs a jig named after her, right?

Got some packages in the mail today. Jigum, and they are great of course, just the color I expected and I know just the spot to use 'em too. And, txcrappiehunter had almost the same idea I had for tying, they are gonna be a winner.

wtex, I will be watching for yours.

Well I have finally decided on the color combo. Lavon is above pool and the gates have been open some so the water is a little stained. This particulat color combo caught a limit of crappie with the gates open. I'd say that is "field tested" so I'm gonna start makin a bunch of those rascals. Will post a pic when I get em done.

Well guys here's my humble offering for this swap. This thing will work just about in time of the year. I used it shooting docks last weekend and just killed them. Also have it in 1/8" for brush piles.

Gloria will try to get them in the mail to you this weekend.

Very nice Dink !!!! I need some painting lessons !!

I finally got mine going tonight. All painted and half of them tied so far..

Went to my Old standby for off color water, which all but one of my local lakes are eeks,if red mud counts as murky !!!!

Black pink combo's have usually worked out here...

I knew it was close to Sloe's but when Gloria mentioned murky water, I knew what I was going to do.
Pink/Black is great too Roger
Come on out and I'll show you how I paint them. That one is really simple but I can show you some others.

Postage reminder...

When mailing your jigs, DO NOT meter the postage on the envelope to be returned to you. Metered postage is only good for the day metered. Use stamps on the return envelope please.

Thank you.

That is my plan for sure. Will be some "Group Pics" when I get them all in. It is a lot of work, but so much fun seeing all the jigs come in and believe you me, all have been so generous with my "goodie bags" you will be surprised when you see the pics. SilverFox is my Sis, Debbie, lives down the street from me, my Mom lives next door and she likes to fish too. Everytime I get packages in they have to look. So, SilverFox gets to see everything before all of you do. She is itchin' to get everyone's packages in so she can have her set, killin' her everytime we hit the water, she says she is sure there is just the perfect jig in one of those envelopes. woot

sloe ive seen the head in person, but havent got one wet yet.Crazy calls it a craw head, and the pic really doesnt do it justice. Its flatter than it looks and should produce a real slow fall with maybe a little wiggle...Maybe when Chuck is able to get one on the water he'll let us know.

Today is the deadline for mailing, only 2 more packages yet to arrive. Anthony fishin'aholic2 had to drop out, the new count is 19. I can return everyone's extra jig in your package. We are waiting on packages from Dink Dodger and Brian Spagnola. Status and information post is on page 7 of this thread.

I need to drop out too. With all the stuff thats been going on in my life I just havnt had time to think. I got em half done but dont want to hold this thing up. I really thought I could get em done but have been working 11 hour days 6 days a week for the last 7 weeks straight. When I see my little boy when I get home tying jigs is the last thing on my mind. I suspect Anthony might of could got him done if I rememberd to send him with some jig heads to tie.

Sorry yall.

Thank you to all, I will enjoy the extras. It has been fun receiving all the packages. One more coming, Dink says "it is in the mail", so I probably will get his package tomorrow. Get them all packaged and will get them on the way to their new homes as soon as possible.
