first off i was wanting to know if anyone on the forum has an extra drill kit they're willing to part with? also i need help how do i puncture a boilie?

what do i puncture with, and does anyone know if quick oats some corn meal, and a bit of almond extract would be a good method mix, and with almond extract just put a capful?

and here are my two new baithing needles:

For method you need a binder and a breaker. You can search some good method recipes on CAG.

your needle ought to go thru it , you might want to use your index finger and thumb close to the end so the needle dont get warped

Jesse,
I use running rigs often, just as shown. If you use a different weight (than the one shown), such as a gripper, you can use method on it, but you can use it without the method as well. Throw the method balls out and cast to where the chum is.

The limper your hooklink, though, the more often it will get tangled on the cast (in my experience). Some shrinkwrap on the lower helf of the swivel and a few inches of the hooklink can help with that.

Big Daddy, I would switch to black snap-swivels if you can find them; the shiny ones sometimes put off the carp.

jesse I am using this set up all the time but then with a inline lead
I never use the method because that great big ball of small items attracts a lot of small carp and I dont like that so close to the hookbait
I do bait up with the method but i just drop these balls of metod spread out over the swim
But I fish with boilies between that
