Dont use that stuff anymore..but if you like that last part of line over the lake bottum
Tie a big swivel 2-3feet above the main lead on the main line...and have a 10gram sliding lead above that swivel
If you cast the main lead flies ahead and the smaller sliding lead mooves back wards..that way you have several yrds of line over the lake bottum behind the main lead..works just fine for me smile

it's a cortland line I found online for cheap. Cortland walleye line colored lead core.

Nevermind though, it's a pain in the buttt so I'll never use it. I'll stick with the usual setup.

Haven't found a decent leadcore splicing needle yet frown

Tried Gardner, Solar, ESP, Nash, JRC, Korda, No Name Brand, and Fox ones....(I used to splice a lot of leadcore)

They are all chit, I have had them break on the first use.

I have found that leadcore weave varies dramatically though with quite a few having a really tight weave, which makes it hard to tease the needle back through.

I eventually found a leadcore that had a looser weave, and they are a doddle to tie with! thumb
