Anyone know of any good spod mixes? I know fairbrass always shares a mix almost every video korda makes, but im looking for something that will work here and wont put me in to catfish country. So far ive just been spoding with maize and sweet corn and i think its time to give the fish some variety in hopes of getting more takes and they come in to the buffet.

I usually use a mix of maize, birdseed, hemp,chick peas and tigers. Mostly use what ever particles I am fishing

Maize and hemp works great. Both boiled together and seasoned with salt and red pepper.

I usually use a mix of maize, birdseed, hemp,chick peas and tigers. Mostly use what ever particles I am fishing Me too. I also spod Pelletts

I've done extremely well spodding out only maize and fishing the method over top.
I really don't think it's so much what you spod but how you do it.

Thanks guys i have some hemp seed that ill throw in next time as well as pick up some bird seed and other particles. Anybody ever lose their spod? I casted mine off yesterday due to the line breaking when the line got to the clip, i use 65lb braid on my spod rod/reel so i was surprised it happened.

I lost it one chilly night at Emma and that was the only thing I had to bait up with. I immediately stripped down to my skivies and swam out there to get it!

That took some cajones, i would have given up. I got lucky yesterday the spod floated to the other side of the pond and i just went to go get it.
