anyone happen to have some plans on making your own spider rig for crappie that would be under $50 or so? I would just like to have 2 poles on either side. Thanks and have a good 1.

A spider rig is a contraption used for trolling to catch crappie.
As a visual...hold your hand out...palm-side down. Now, fold your thumb under your hand, and spread your fingers out. This is what it looks like on the front of your boat with 4 rods out.

I've built two of them for around $20.00 a piece. I used square tubing and parts of rod holders I bought at Academy for cheap.Takes about thirty minutes to do if ya have the right tools.

I would still add 4 holders. Once you get the hang, 2 won't be enough Jerry www.NorthTexasGuideService.com
