So how do you go about trailering a boat 9.5' wide when Texas as well as most all states have a 8.5' max width regulation?

Is there is a permit you have to buy every year? How much we talking? Any experience greatly appreciated!

Technically you're supposed to pull a permit before each trip. The reality is that you hardly ever hear of this law being enforced. Dealers sell boats with 9 foot beams all the time and it rarely presents a problem.

I'd pull it and not worry about it.

Every trip huh? That was not what I wanted to hear.

I believe your right though about it not being enforced. Thanks!
