Heard reports here in north Ft. Worth area of up to 6-7" but I have not found anything concrete as to the totals. They mentioneed yesterday that Central Texas had received up to 12" so hopefully it helped their area lakes. This should do us some good in our area as well. Hope it keeps falling.

Not sure about the total, one of the neighbors apparently emptied my rain gauge...However, Whitney rose 1.26 feet in the last 4 days, so a fair amount...We could use another 20 days like the past 4...

We haven't gotten as much as you guys south of here. Maybe 4-5, rain gauge broke a few months back so I'm going by a flower pot in the backyard.

We finally had some decent rains. First honest deluge in about 14 months.

Heard the Pedernales watershed above Johnson City had about 4". So far,Travis has risen about 1/2 foot. Needs another 50feet to get to normal pool. Most of the rain soaked in and did not run off.

Georgetown is up about 2 feet with 20+ feet to go to normal pool.
The San Gabriel watershed(portion that feeds the lake) got about 6". Jarrel/Salado got 15" but that goes to Granger.

We got 2 inches in the boat Saturday on Bastrop.

Saturday, I went to Sim's about 5:10 and the clouds were a greenish gray...I was in there about 10 minutes and came out to a gully washer...I drove over the lake on 1713 and saw two idiots out on the lake with the storm...Oh well, you live and you learn...

We have gotten about .8" in all that was forcast. Even with a new pond in the works I would have appreciated a little more. We need it badly in deep East Texas.

I think DFW is at about 6.5 ". I live in Grpaevine so I am assuming we are pretty close to that. I wish the rain would stop for a day or two and then dump this much rain again.

Saturday got home from Tyler and saw 5.5" in the rain gauge but couldn't remember when I last emptied it. Poured it out and checked it yesterday at noon and had over 5" in it. Crowley area

Here in SW Arlington (I-20 and Green Oaks) we have had 10.5". I bought a new rain gauge a few weeks ago, and the wife and I have been keeping totals as we dump the gauge each day.

I had to backwash the pool twice already, just to drain off water....it has been breaching the coping on two different occasions!

7" inches as of right before dark yesterday afternoon in Grapevine. I have 2 rain guages. It was too dark this morning to see what we got overnight before I had to leave for work.

Nice to hear the creek roaring out back.

I dunno but we are in a flash flood warning status where I live. I signed up to get an alert via cell phone, and it worked like a charm.
