tough lake, went once never been again

Tough Lake!! New side with is the South Side of the tunnel is Very Clear, Deep and stumpy!! The new side the fish are chasing baitfish and are super tough!! Old side is tough to!! The thermacline is only like 4 ft down so fish are scattered chasing baitfish as well!! I have a lakehouse out there and I'm there a lot!! I've learned the lake very well in the past 3 years and in the past month or so it has been very very very tough!! There was a bass club tourney last weekend and I went to watch weigh in and 9.83 won it!! Pretty crappy when in the spring there was a 8+ caught out of there every weekend and ppl were weighing in 18-20lb sacks!! White/ Chart Spinner baits/ watermelon red baby brush hogs t-rigged in structure and t-riged 5in watermelon seed ring frys from lft is what i have been catchin all my fish on!! Lake is like 3 foot low and a lof of good structure is now sitting in inches of water when it should be in 4 ft of water!! Hope it helps and send me a pm letting me know how u did!!

I have never fish Amon Carter...where are the best boat ramps? Any obstacles to watch for on the lake?

I was there last week, did well with Junebug & Junebug Red in 6 - 10'ft of water, steep banks with stumps and pondweed

Stay on the clear (new) side for consistant bite

Topwaters & Money Minnows until around 9am, then went to plastics

They love flake in the plastics - used wacky worms with a little weight
