Jerry I do not spend a lot of time in the crappie forum so just picked up on this. Prayers for you and your family going out.
I do not know your present trial or affliction but I can assure you that in the darkest days that you are not alone. Jesus is as close to you right now as he has ever been. The temptor of man will try to convince you there is a great distance between you and your savior, he is a liar and the father of lies. Cast your cares upon the Lord and let Christ take the reins of your life, he will not fail you.
You and I spoke at the boat show so I know you are a believer and a man of faith in Christ. Grab hold of the spiritual strength of your grandmother, it is a legacy that she left for your generation and begin to stand on the Word of God.
Your future lies in your strength, character and renewed faith in Christ that will be built in you during this trial. This will be your legacy to your children and grandchildren.
Call me anytime you need to. I look forward to hearing your testimony of how Christ Jesus brought you through this trial.

Hey big guy, I'm not being mean with this. Just thought a little humor may pick you up.

"Anyone with needs to be prayed over, come forward, to the front at the altar," the Preacher says.

Leroy gets in line, and when it's his turn, the preacher asks:

"Leroy, what do you want me to pray about for you."

Leroy replies: "Preacher, I need you to pray for my hearing."

The preacher puts one finger in Leroy's ear, and he places the other hand on top of Leroy's head and prays and prays and prays, he prays a blue streak for Leroy.

After a few minutes, the Preacher removes his hands, stands back andasks,"Leroy, how is your hearing now?"

Leroy says, "I don't know, Reverend, it ain't til next Wednesday!"

I have never met you, but after reading the posts of a lot of your friends I do believe you will pull through this tough time with your faith and belief and the prayers of your friends and those of us who have never had the pleasure to meet you yet.

Looking forward to hearing good news in the near future.
