there is carp and buffalo in lake mexia, i just came back from a 2 day session. i rented a cabin and set up on the back and fished. 7 carp all between 5 and 10 pounds, and 1 buffalo at 6 pounds. didnt take any pics cause they was all sick looking, idk about this lake, no catfish ethier, not even a brim or turtle.
