can you fish for carp on state property without a fishing license?

If your fishing from the bank with in a state park you dont need a fishing license, but if your on the bank outside of the state park or from a boat you need a fishing license. Unless the body of water lies totally with in the boundaries of the state park then you dont need a fishing license.

There's nothing special about carp, as far as the law is concerned. If you need a fishing license anywhere, you need it for carp as well.

yeah the license is simply for fishing ... years ago if you used a cane pole you didn't need a license & there were a few other exceptions but now if you are fishing period, you need a license
