Anyone ever fished this pond? It's close to where I live but I don't know much about it? Any info is appreciated. It'd be nice to have somewhere close to home to go for a few hours after work.

I may not always be right but I'm never wrong.
It is regularly stocked with catfish in the spring. They also stock it with Rainbow trout in the winter. I used to think it was just a catfish pond until I saw a guy pull out a nice fat 5 pound Bass during one of the catfish releases. He said he was practicing his casting with a red-white spinner bait and he felt a big hit!
I've caught some 2-3 pound catfish there on chicken livers. Others swear on strips of raw beef or cornmeal-garlic dough balls. Most of that pond is pretty shallow. I think the water might get pretty hot during the summer. Early morning might be best along the highbank.
yeah i'v taken my son over there with some nightcrawlers and doesn't take to long for the cats to hit. The ones i have caught were not to big just fun for him to catch. Never tried for bass.
well right now they r filling it every other thursday its up to be refilled this thursday best times to go r in the mornings and they love stinky dough bait its a really good spot to get lil kids into fishing caus you dont gotta be too patient take a trip there youll catch at least a fish or 2
