Im new to the area, and havent fished much in TX. Live in west Ft. Worth and was wondering if anyone knows of any good ponds around here? Thanks in advance!

No ponds come to mind, but you can catch bass at Benbrook Lake, Lake Worth, Eagle Mountain Lake, and in the Trinity.

check the fort worth thread here in bank fishing. they talk about some spots.

Smile where are you catching bass on benbrook i've had no luck and some advice would be great since its somewhere i can drive to straight after school.

I wouldn't even mess with Benbrook lake, the water is so low, plus you must pay to get in.

I've caught bass at Rocky Creek Park ($3 to get in) and at Longhorn Park (free). Longhorn Park is very rocky, so be prepared to lose T-rig worms and other bottom baits.
