One little tip on especially Rayon that is a bit old and crushed. Get some water boiling really good and pass the chenille trough the steam coming up and it will help restore your Rayon. Any means of making the steam will do and some maybe better than a pot like I do it.

However be careful as to how long it is in that steam at any one spot because it will ruin it if left in the steam too long. You will be able to pull it off the cotton then and it will never work well again for anything.
