I was on the lake today and here comes some Hot Doger flying a bad A$$ Yellow plane about 15ft off the water at about 200 mph and right over the top of my head. Little bit out of hand. Didnt make me mad but he had no right to put my life in his hands with out asking. If hed come back I might of got off sides.

Ive had that happen a few times out here.
Always during the week though.
Just never that low. Sometimes I think they are too close.
I usually let them know their # 1 in my book.
Sometimes #11.
Have you ever seen the Float Planes.
That will make you pucker at first sight.
Thinking there having issues.
But there just practicing their Landing and Take Off.

This is in violation of the Federal Aviation Regulations, at least for the altitude. If you had a photo of said incident, and gave it to the FAA . . . . bye bye pilot's license.

I had the identical same thing on Granger Saturday morning. It was a little Cesna and it came from a ways off, straight at me like it was going to hit me. Buzzed right over my head probably 20 to 30 feet. I could of hit with a slab if I had been fishing one. Good advice on taking picture. Used to just worry about the idiots in boats and jetskis, now I have to worry about planes too.

You might check with the FAA. I know they know who is where. If you file a complaint they might go back in their logs. Also, if possible get the numbers off the plane. As noted above, when you file a complaint the FAA takes this hot dogging [censored] seriously.

See a yellow crop duster going W to E and back frequently. Very loud exhaust. Never seen him below a bout 200 feet except when spraying. Usually N end of RR.
