Today, I had the pleasure of fishing for crappie with Chuck Rollins at Cedar Creek. I thought I had some idea of how to catch fish at CC until I was turned on to Jigging for Crappie with Chuck. I was totally "schooled" by him and his crappie buddies. I found out it is very different from finding Hybrid. There is technique & focus I found fascinating. Not to mention "shooting the docks" which does not require a shotgun. I managed to catch a few as Chuck used his rig as if it were a magic wand. We ( using the word loosely ) caught a cooler of fish & I had a ball. Will I give up Hybrid -- No way !!! Will I continue my effort to pursue Crappie next month when they get aggressive --- You bet.
