That's fayette right now. I have a friend that guides out there and he is not takeing trips right now b/c of the fishing it will get better next month the schooling should start hard and heavey just keep an eye on the reports you will see.

As one guide on Fayette put it, the East wind has been blowing for about 6 weeks it seems like. However, temps have already dropped from what they were 6 weeks ago, so expect better things to start happening just about any time. On a slow day, just remember, a bad day fishing is always better than a good day at work.

join the club friend.... weve been fishin it all summer... i think our best day was like 5..... all good sized, but none out of the slot. hopefully we can get some schoolies in the next couple weeks, from other reports on a dif forum, it is starting to pick up. id say wait till the next full moon.

Went to Fayette Saturday. Beautiful day but few boats out. Only caught 2 dinks all morning. Graphing fish deep, but no takers.
Worst day I've ever had there. Even Game Warden said fishing had been very slow.

well hopefully the schooling will pick up, i kinda wanna go out, maybe labor day weekend..... maybe not.
