So what do all of you do besides fish for stinky slimy carp? I Know ScottEvil occupies his free time in roadside rest areas when he isn't fishing but what about the rest of you?

Deer hunting, riding my 4 wheeler and hanging around at the ranch drinking beer.

Flying, Video Gaming, Hunting, and Shooting, and I'm also an Avid TV watcher.

I do some artifact and fossil hunting when the weather is nice. I love photoshop...pretty good at it, and have a lot of fun jacking up a friends picture and the like.

I also enjoy goin fishing!haha Hunting, 4 wheelin, welding, and just being in the outdoors in general!

I like to play pc wargames, the total war series is friggn sweet.
And sleeping is also an avid hobby of mine.

I collect spores, mold, and fungus.

That is other than fishing, I only bait fish for carp 25% of the time I spend fishing . I guess photography fits in there somewhere as well.

Used to be addicted to World of Warcraft, but recently quit (again...it's like quitting smoking). My new hobby seems to be buying guns.

I also used to play guitar, bass and keyboards and spent way too much $$ on said musical gear...now I seem to just sit around drunk. LOL

I think I've only been out fishing twice since June.

The litle time I have left apart from fishing( and that is not much ) i realy like to watch good bleus rock music
But most of my "spare time " I do a lot of bait making
Oh and I fish 3-4days a week day and night so there is not much time left to have a private life (lol)

Fishing for other species, paddling (canoe and kayak), reading, bird watching, movies, some cards (euchre). Oh, and swimming and biking (staying fit!).

i play ps3(cod4),football practice with my son and powerlift/bodybuild(only bodybuild every few years because its hard on the body)but love to powerlift.its addicting

I too love PC gaming, and to a lesser extent, my 360. The Total War series IS friggin sweet!

I also am a big music fan (mostly prog and some metal), read about a book a week, and spend most of my other time lately at school. I am going after an AAS degree in CAD/drafting. I'm about to start my 3rd quarter.

I though it was funnier to let it just hang out there, so to speak.

I just happen to be an avid gamer as well with any FPS, Guitar Hero(any of them) I was ranked 32 for a long time globally on GH2 and top 100 in GH3, Gears of War 1 is one of my favorite games by far, can always pick up halo3 and destroy as i am a 48/50 soloing...been playing guitar for 14 years now or so and just recently exposed my self to the blues, active on the acoustic for about 3 years now.(i am completely self taught)

PC games, well it was Diablo 2 for the longest time and i occasioanally get in on the new ladders! Im looking forward to D3 when it comes out, won't be doing anything else for a while!!!
Played some other games like WOW(for a month or 2) Guild Wars, C$C, everquest, and so on.

Beer drinking and blanking... While doing those two things, I may occasionally, and inadvertently, hook a carp or buff.

Heck ya man, I love that damn game, playing Empire right now and totally diggin it, I can't wait for the Napoleonic Wars expansion pack to come out.

You're pretty good at catching sailboats too.

I bounce from hobby to hobby. Some that I have "tried on" over the years include card modeling, playing the recorder, bowling, golf, gardening, playing Euro boardgames, building (or trying to build) ship models, book collecting, astronomy, playing the piano, PC gaming, Wii gaming, umpiring baseball games (back in the day), and--now--fishing. My wife says that my hobby is hobbies.

I use a "treasure" detector around old playgrounds, homesteads, etc..

**Arrowhead/relic hunting/fossil hunting, usually on creeks with gravel

**Garage sales, flea markets, estate sales

**Travel to different places to do all of the above

i have a metal detector as well, don't use it too much these days but still fun stuff!
Best find to date, 100+ year old lock and a fully intact jar, lid and all. No money in it though...

That's my Dad's second hobby after fishing too.

He didn't do it for a few years, but he's been getting into it again lately.

Class rings have been good for me in years past. I still pick up one on occasion at Burns Run or Sunset on Lake Texoma.

My land in granbury is a big arrowhead spot. From what I hear people find a lot of cool stuff on my land. One guy has been digging with heavy equipment so i be he's finding gold by now..
