Ron and Richard went with me up to Texoma today. I really have no clue on how many fish we pulled into the boat today but my thumb says a bunch . We started out catching some stripers and sandies. We got into them schooling, We only kept a few of them and tossed most of them back. We caught crappie at most every place we tried. Richard and I used jigs and Ron used minnows both caught a lot of fish and it was split on the bigger fish as well. ThumpIt jigs were hot today. As always fishing with Ron and Richard is nothing less than a blast. They kept me laughing the whole time. Oh by the way thanks for the burger Ron. I still don't understand why Richard wouldn't thumb the 4' gar that Ron caught .

Ron and Richard with 73 fish on the board, just 2 short from being the first to fill the new board. The five largest crappie went just under 10 lbs total.

how do you catch crappie on texoma?

We need to try a light on that bp. It's so close to shore I could almost put my anchor on the and use the trolling motor to keep us right on it.

It took a while. Ron and Richard had time to go getem a burger, eat it and come back. Which worked out good for them . Dad came out and helped rib them after I was about half way done.
