I will be traveling to the Freeport area around September 12th and am looking to book a guided offshore trip for 4 people. Others backed out so I am looking for 3 more to join me and split the $1000 cost for an all-day trip. The guide is not yet reserved, but they are available. I am open for most any type of offshore trip and any guide suggestions. Please call me at 214-356-4233 or email me at Paul.Birinyi@utsouthwestern.edu if interested. I am looking to get this set up soon.

I found this guide Marc Wilkerson who seems pretty knowledgeable and has a nice setup. If you are up for a trip and know of another guide who is available, I am up for that, too. I wouldn’t mind an inshore trip if you don’t want to do the offshore trip. I just figure I can’t miss a fishing opportunity when I am in the Freeport area.

I will have to check with "the boss" but I should be able to fish that week. I have an unbreakable commitment on the 15th, but other than that I should be able to go.
BTW-I don't fish "inshore"....I got bit by the tuna bug years ago and just have not been able to look at a trout the same way since. When I see a 27" trout all I can think is BAIT!!!!!I will shoot you an email after I check with the boss(she is in Denver until tomorow night)
Here is a report from my last trip with cowboy charters in freeport.

Thanks,

I know what you mean about inshore fishing. It is just hard to get people to get offshore at times. I have a spot being held with Joe Gilleland with Blue Water Offshore. Have you heard of him? The other guides were not available. Hope "the boss" understands the necessity of a good fishing trip.
