Possibility work may take me there on a permanent basis. Anyone have the skinny on that region for crappie lakes & reservoirs?

You might as well go over to the dark side and start catching those 10 pound bass at Falcon and Amistad. No Crappie down there. I'm just kidding about that I'm sure you'll find some! Pretty country though and you'll learn a second language quick.

Thanks Barn, but I've already went through puberty in my early fishing years, no need to do that again, but you know the jingle---"Macho-man, Macho-Man, does whatever Macho can".

And really, all one has to do with the pro trasher's is simply invite them to a side-by-side taste test with the grass-fish and crappie-dogs. It's actually kind of evil because from that point on they'll become closeted; bass-pro fisherman by day---crappie eater by night.

And no offense to the devout here, but if you ever get a chance to taste-test Crappie against Wally's; same thing...those fish have a wonderful sweet flavor, firm flesh, and cook 'em any way you like, they come out great! Before you know it you'll be convincing the Little Lady how the family needs to get away, try something different, go north...and maybe get a little fishing in!
