Where is the best place to launch at benbrook? I live near Joshua. New to posting on forum. However have been reading it for about a year. Just shy and lost my passwords, jigs, and a little grey matter over this obsession I have with crappie fishin. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I heard Mustang Creek is good. My buddy and I launched from Longhorn park recently and the ramp only goes in the water about 2 feet and then turns to big rocks.

I don't know about Rocky Creek. I'm sure the regulars will chime in. The finger's better... Just got back from the doc and they said it was healing fine. Thanks for asking.

Right now your best bet is mustang park ramp, lake is very low and dropping everyday.

Depending on the size of your boat Longhorn Park is still ok. Just make sure you launch on the right side of the ramp facing the lake.

I did terrible... my first time there. Caught a few small ones and a couple of keepers... I gotta find somebody to show me the ropes there... it's relatively close to where I live.

mustang is always good.

south holiday (the ramp to the Right, going into the park) is OK.

rocky creek actually has two ramps, so you can always use the ramp further out into the lake when the water is low.

north holiday (all ramps) = watch out.

marina = watch out.

longhorn = watch out.
