I gonna start pouring my own jig heads and powder coating them, I like using 1/16 oz. I checked out Barlows and really got confused, sooo many molds. Any suggestions from you pro's will be appreciated. Don't want to spend a lot either. Thanks

Im no pro on pouring but,but most of us use the round or ball head jigs. Mold with collar for plastics or with out if you plan to tie..

There lots of good asprin,or minnow heads designs out there,no right or wrong just most prefer the ball head. with sickle hooks.

I like the 1/16 and 1/8 round/ball jig heads with sickle as well. If you are fishing Rocky Top jigs, you can go without the collar and it works good (doesn't slide and tear up the jig much) since it is a solid plastic. If you fish the hollow type jigs, as Radtexan said - go with the collar. I'm sure you'll probably get lots of input from some really good jig makers on here

Thanks, I'm partial to plastic. Mostly 1.5" Assassins and 2" Bobby Garlands and use the round head with collars. Now I just have to decide on which mold.
