Does anyone know of any good bank fishing spots for catfish on lake lewisville?

Sure do, the Old Dam off the Little Elm side, but I think they have closed it again!!! Caught some dandies off of it back in April!!!

Yah, the old dam is still closed at least as of last week. This is a good time of the year to fish at night with chum, although I haven't had a chance to try it this year.

Yea, back in April the fence was down, and a lot of people were driving out there and fishing, police were driving around, no-body said anything, then I heard someone dumped some trash and the barracades went back up!!! I fished there right before it rained, 1st trip caught a 12 lb blue, next a 20 lb flat-head, next a 14 lb flat-head and a 13 1/2 lb blue, the next trip a 19 lb Blue, then it rained and I went 1 time caught a couple of small ones, then I got my truck out of the shop and started taking my boat again and heard they closed it off again!!!

I wasn't fishing but about 2 or 3 hours in the middle of the day, I never fished it early or late. That is a good place out there, and I heard they was fixin it up for a place to fish!!!

ill be there anyway.....we drove down there last week....and the barracade was moved out of the way
