Have been approached by a company about having a fish camp in the spring for Kids in the DFW Area. It would be for couple hundred kids and would be a 4 day event with fishing trips for
2 of the 4 days. This would be quite a under taking.
Myself and another avid fisherman have talked to a big company
in the outdoor business about this and it could introduce a lot of kids to fishing. Would need to break it up into
5 lakes or so and have a good number of fisherman that would
participate. There would be some compensation to cover your cost probally in the 150.00 range. If you think you could committ or be interested in doing something like this please send me a email at tbarnes065@aol.com. The timing for it would be in the late March and April time frame. We do have some pretty good response from some possible sponsorships and
free stuff for the kids and fisherman as well.We would make a charity contribution to a organization that would promote fishing for Kids, Your thoughts? flag

As you get more details lined out let me know. I will do my best to help. I'm currently working on a new curriculum for outdoor activities for my PE classes, including writing grants for fishing equipment.
Sounds like a good event to get kids interested in life long activities.
