Waiting around on my first order from BCT! Its nothing special, just some terminal stuff but boy i can't wait till it gets here!

My order from BCT just came in about 20 mins ago, i also have some stuff coming in from resistance that should make it in today. The anticipation is a killer, cant wait to go use everything tonight!

What rod pod did you get curt ?

Got the BFS set up with two tripods. Go to their site under rod stands and click on the aluminum tripod. Will show my exact setup.

yes jb , one is for the alarms and the other for the butt rests

They had a summer deal going. Two tripods, two buzzer bars, three alarms, three butt rests, and two quick release adapters for 79.95. I also got 3 swing tensioners. With shipping for all of the gear I got out for a $100 bill.

I was looking at this one and would both sides look like that or would one look differently ?

just looked at the site . looks like you only nee one .then you would have to buy the one below it for butt rests

If you are going to do something like that call and talk to John (owner). He will set you up to save some shipping. If I had purchased all that on-line, it would have cost closer to $130

the one for alarms has threaded couplings so you can screw the alarms to . most alarms are universal and so are the buzz bars

So , would it be possible to get two pieces that look like that or do I not have choice ?

you can order anything you want . alot of people lose or damage items and simply replace what they need .

So the buzzbars are separate products , I did not know that.
That's good , I don't think I really want bite alarms.

i dont use bite alarms bc i have bait clickers JB, but bite alarms are very handy when you are doing a 2-3day or even longer session that requires you to sleep

The bite alarms get quite loud and will wake you from your sleep if you get a run

There's no way I'd stay out fishing 3 days. And if I did coffee and red bull would replace sleep.

J.B, The one I got has the three screw on U shaped butt rests. That way if you want or need you can thread something else on besides the butt rests. They look to be more stable than the one you looked at. I was looking at the same one too but opted for the package deal.

haha JB, i have done a 2 day session recently and my bait clicker were loud enough to wake me from my sleep so i could land my 18lb personal best

but being that i was fishing, i don't think it was very deep sleep

And I don't think I could ever sleep while outdoors I'd be worried about bugs and other critters messing with me while I sleep.

It worked!!!! My new rod pod and alarms were a hoot last evening at Lake Worth. I caught 10 during a fairly short session. Got the gear broke in right.
