Generally fall and spring are the best with winter being better than summer for BIG fish. There is no one month though that can be pegged the best though

Nice!
If I understood Brett correctly, that is the biggest known Ghostie carp right? How long till a 30 comes out of there? I've caught a couple of fish there that were longer than Dad's big one but being post-spawn summer fish, they were only 20-ish. I think they could approach 30 if caught at the right time of year?

Bret and I saw XYZ land one there that probably went 30+. Never got an official weight on it though, but it was the biggest fish I've seen from that pond, including Kevin's.

Has there ever been a confirmed DFW 30?

He posted the pic a while back, too. I know another spot that's near DFW that supposedly had them via surveys but has yet to cough up anything near that size for us.

well cough up that location so we can try!hehehe lol, We have tried many times and blanked each time. The area is also super gang land and very dangerous, more so than the lake arlington session y'all had.
