Several fortuitous events took place to keep the day matriculating along in the propitious manner that I have become accustomed to.
I managed to find hybrids in an area that has seen a lot of traffic the past few weeks, and several folks had pressing engagements at other locations.
I caught and released 3 legal hybrids, 4 short fish and a couple of sand bass. All fish were caught on a 4" chartreuse sassy shad from www.moestackleshop.com on a matching 1 ounce jig head.
I did see Snaggin Steve, his neighbor Terry, a couple of others and Chuck Rollins.

The folks with other pressing engagements were the folks that kept running over the fish yesterday.

I left Key Ranch at 7:10 and headed south but didnt find anything else until about 7:30 when we arrived at a mid lake hump. Then we left there and went to where you told me and yes there was fish there. And then we left to only return later to that spot again about 9:00am and it was loaded with about a 1/2 acre of fish. They were all sandies but we put a bunch in the boat then went to one last spot looking for hybrids with no luck.
I'll see you boys again in the morning.

Have you started using big words instead of bad words to describe your fishing experience? I guess I'm gonna have to carry a webster's on the boat to communicate with you now.

I use those words to confuse the folks at the mall.
