Anyone heard from Trump903?

I haven't heard from Trump since he moved.

I saw him at the 344 dock about 6 weeks ago with a lady..... He was inquiring about the fishing, and heading back to the city. I think they had been on the water. He was talking about moving his boat to Grapevine or Lewisville. I miss seeing him out there..

I finally got one on the board! I was getting worried that I wasn't going to get even 1 fish this time. Man it was cold out there Sunday morning. I did see Mo while out there. That was the only fish boated, I had another one equally impressive but it broke my line as I reached down to pick it up out of the water

Way to go lberia I've been wondering when you was going to put one on the board. Thats a good looking fish.

It is not eligible for this years contest because it was caught in Sept of 08 but my son landed both of these hybrids on Palestine while trolling. He landed the smaller of the two and while I was on the phone trying to find someone to take our picture with it he hooked the larger one. I thought he was hung up so I just killed the boat and kept talking thinking he was fighting the bottom until I noticed the bottom had passed up the boat! We landed it and it was longer than my 25" Golden rule so we had to measure it with a tape measure and it was 27 1/2 inches long! He still remids me almost weekly about the day he caught 5 "Monster fish" and I caught only one little fish (a 13" white bass) That day is one of my all time favorite memories.

Very nice Cancatch5, those are memories that make proud Daddys for sure I bet both of you grin from ear to ear when you talk about that day. I can't wait until my little girl can start coming out with me! That story reminds me of some of the fishing trips I had with my Dad, we usually came back with a couple of hard heads and maybe a decent fish or 2 but there were the trips when we'd get onto some fish and filled the boat, we had so much fun! Wish he was still around so I could take him out and put him on some fish and let my little girl fish with her Daddy and Pappy.

anyone think it will be worth going out in the morning?

I haven't been fishing for about 4 months. It is killing me. I will be out a few times over the next two weeks so hope to see you guys out there.

Wow - I was just checking in and things appear to be very quiet on Palestine! I did manage to break away long enough to get a couple of trips in a couple of weeks ago. I had a very good afternoon on the 14th and managed to catch one 24" (6.5 lbs), one 25" (8 lbs), and many others in the 21-22" range. My other trip was painfully slow.... I'll try to post my pics of the two largest in a little bit.

I am guessing that today is the last day of the contest. Looks like Grescobia is in line to win some TNT products. Wish my name would have made it up their. Congrats to all who participated.

Short of anyone showing up with something before midnite it looks like Grescobia is going to win this years Big Hybrid Fall contest. Congrats Grescobia on a fine Hybrid! I want to Thank all the participants who took the time to participate in this. I think we learned somethings with the info we got for the fall fishing. One thing being that October is a hot month for Hybrids on Palestine. Another being that it looks like any Hybrid 24" and up is one of the more better Hybrids. This was something that was free and open to all that fish Palestine. I believe we will do one for the spring starting in February and run till the end of May. I am going to come up with a prize or two for that one. Again Thank you and Happy New Years.......
