My brother sent me this picture from a leisure outing he and some friends took on Lake Grapevine. Thought everyone might enjoy this picture.

Great shot, looks like the Marina!
Scott, it could be GV, there's a marina near the Cliffs that has the same sort of carp feeding gatherings that the Joe Pool Marina does. You can buy feed for them and everything.
Though they do look like Joe Pool sized fish lol. Definitely a buff in there too.

Scott, yeah, pretty easily I'd think.
When you're going to the cliffs, if you go right at the 4 way intersection, out to Little Petes or whatever the restuarant is called, you'll get to the marina.

There used to be tons of fish at that Marina, but after the water level dropped so low that they had to relocate a lot of the boats, the fish scattered. Since then though I'm pretty sure they have returned.

Looking at this picture I have to say that tthe carp look healthier than in the past few summers. If we get some flooding we might even see some big boys come out.

no its a carp I disagree. It has the depth of body of a buffalo, the pale pec fins, and the dark tail. I've seen tons of buffs like that at GV, and while I've seen a few koi, I've yet to see a Blue-grey koi that shade out there.
