I just wanna try a 5.7 Tundra, but the wife won't let me have 2 trucks!

The emissions '[censored]' is going to get even worse and more restrictive in 2010 for ALL diesel engine models! bang

Mid 07,,,the Classic body style. They are in high demand and sell for a premium holding their resale value well. If Toyota would build a deisel truck that would be an awesome p.u.to have.
Say stick a Mercedes deisel engine in it.

The Mercedes engine in the class 8 trucks arn't all that great. My customer runs about 200 daycab freightliners with a Mercedes in them, they are constantly in the shop

Just cleaned the K&N air filter so I may get a bit better,,,it was nasty. I also have a Super Chip reprogrammer. It makes a big difference.

Don't bother with the air inductions or air cleaners. If you ever go to the dieselplace.com they have proved many times over that air filters give you no gains.

If you can get that mileage out of your duramax you are not in the norm. I had several mods to improve mileage on my Duramax and tried the top 3 programmers, and no matter what you will not see an increase in mileage with them when hand calculated. The programmers do however throw off the DIC mileage if you are going by that.

I recently went up to the ranch in the Panhandle,360 miles, and did the calculation the old fashion way. I filled up in Guymon, 16.6 gallons burned driving 73mph. I wasn't pulling but had the bed loaded down. Averaged over 21mpg.
