Alright,
I've almost finally made up my mind on my kayak purchase...
One last question and it may be a dumb one...but, does the color matter? For instance, if I am using this in the bay stalking fish, would a yellow kayak spook fish. Or does it not even matter what color the kayak is?
The main thing color does is help you be seen. Get a bright color. Stay away from green and blues. My buddy has a olive green yak and if he's 100 yards away you can't see his boat.
Not spooking the fish has more to do with hull slap in my opinion.
Bright colors help you to be seen on the sometimes very busy lakes. All of my Yaks are bright yellow. I also have reflective tape on my paddles. Have fun!

Although bright colors do help you get seen, if that ONE yak you really really want doesn't come in the oh so sweet malibu lime green, get a kayak safety flag or an atv safety flag. Those bad boys are life savors. Sometimes having a yellow yak wont make a difference in narly swells. Also, a MUST is a visible life jacket. Your yak won't make a difference if yall get parted by some strange reason.
