Nice.. I was there Saturday Morning, and again in the evening. I got about a two pounder on a firetiger crankbait. There are bunches of smaller ones up in the creek to the left of where you park. I had been fishing the other pond at northlakes park, and just started fishing this one last week. Have had pretty good success with crankbaits and Yum Wooly Bugs on a jighead.

Cool, probably see you out there sometime. Yeah the crankbait did ok, I found out that it was probably because it's the same color as the perch I've caught there. Did better numbers with the soft plastics too though.

Is this the pond off of Bonnie brae, by the frisbee golf course? I wasn't having much luck there so I tried the other pond across from the driving range. You have to park at the playground and walk about a quarter mile to the dock. I caught about a dozen little catfish. None were big enough to keep, but they were fun to catch and throw back

yeah, i see people out there all the time. I talked to a guy on a little pond buster boat a few months ago that said he fishes out there every weekend and has pulled everything up to #5's and #6's. It's a 5 minute drive for me so it's nice to be able to load up and be fishing in no time.

its also pretty cool that you can park your vehicle almost right on the water. Most ponds and bankfishing spots require tons of walking. This place..not so bad in comparison

\lol I'll be out there with my kiddo tomorrow evening. Maybe see some of ya'll there

Aint no fish in that pond, Stay Away (LOL)! Bite's been real slow lately. Big ones seem to know everything I throw or recognize my boat or maybe they're scared of my mean 4 legged fishing buddy!
