You are correct. Final loop should be against the base of the knot (at the top of the hook eye). Not looped around the bottom of the eye.

Been using this knot on all lines to all hooks and swivels for 5-6 years now.
Incredibly strong, forgiving to tie (self corrects as you cinch it), abrasion resistant

Been using this knot more frequently on presentations where subtle movements can be key

Its not as strong as a doubled uni loop knot, but it stays locked over time (wont eventually cinch down like the doubled uni loop knot) and gives more freedom to the lure compared to the doubled uni loop knot
