My girlfriend loves to fish, she likes catching big fish. Carp, buffalo, catfish etc.... not to eat but just for the fight. She likes pink and would like a pink rod or reel. I need to find her one that is big (7ft or bigger) and pink. And one that can hold 10lb+ fish. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!

Check Academy I seen some pink rod and reels there. I didn't pay much attention to the make and model. But maybe a good place to start since Academys are everywhere.

American Rodsmiths Judy Wong series is a good rod. I have a friend who loves pink/purple and she has 6 of them and loves them.

Ugly Stik makes several pink rod and reel combo kits. My wife has one.

looks like we're goin with the pink shakespear at bass pro shop. it is a spinning reel and has a medium action rod. thanks for the help!

American rod smith makes either a pink or a purple judy wong rod.

If you really want to got to a top quality rod at a decent price you should try CastAways new Ladies series. It is a pastel pink rod built on the same blank as the CastAways XP3 series.
