I was in the Academy stores in East Plano and on Forest Lane in Dallas today looking for TNT lures but they dont have them yet. I asked the department manager in both stores about stocking the lures and they didnt know anything about them. I guess they are in the distribution system somewhere.

Picked up mine today at the Lewisville store. Been wanting to try them for a while now. They look great... Will be throwing them tomorrow on LL.

Just got a couple this evening from the Burleson store. They were on the side of an end cap, in the right isle, but not on the regular shelf. Not a bad place to be promoted. But for the regulars who know what they are looking for, and go straight to that section, you definitely want to be there too.

Me and a friend picked up a few at the Lewisville store. I have a question why is it so hard to find a slab in 1/4oz. I have looked at three stores. Looks like BPS is only one that has them.

Was in the Plano store Friday. They were not on the shelves yet, still in a cart to be put up. Should be there now.

I will go ahead and take your bait once again, $2.99 to $3.79, at least I think thats what they run. Now your turn....I think you once made mention on a thread about the $1.29 or so slabs at Academy,,,,as far as I know they still carry those as well. Good luck.

I am not in a position to say much on the behalf of the stores, but I can tell ya, I sell 3/8oz size slabs and I would be willing to wager that a 3/4oz or 1oz bait would outsell it at least 100 to 1, at least this time of year. I sell some of those early spring though, good bait for other species as well. That might be why some of the stores dont carry them. I know when Academy asked me what lures to carry they only want the best sellers and then they choose from those what to carry. Probably the reason you are having a hard time finding them.

I was in the Academy stores on Central Expressway (east Plano) and Forest Lane in Dallas yesterday and today and they dont have the TNT lures yet. May be in transit and not arrived yet. Talked to the department manager in both stores and neither knew anything about stocking them. Hope to see them on the shelves soon.

I stopped by the Grapevine store this evening on my way home from work to see if they had 'em. I looked all over the wall where they should have been and could not see any. Then just when I was about to leave I looked down and saw them on the bottom of the shelf/wall in three baskets. I had only enough $ to pick up a couple of them this time, but I know I'll be back for more. I selected the 180 in 1oz. Glad to see 'em there and can't wait to try 'em out on LL.
Any chance that they'll get 'em in at the new Academy store on N. Tarrant & 377? I live just across from there.

Good luck.

Went our yesterday morning and found them between the twin poles and party cove from 6am to 7:30am non stop. I was using half oz chartruse slabs from the local bait shop. It seemed they liked them the most. Also tossed a clear torpedo that was so hammerd at the end I had to bend the hooks back in place, It was great.

Bryon, I own a few of those $1.29 baits. I had them before I discovered your lures. (I picked one up and looked at it at one of Varner's lure demonstrations at BPS). Yes, if you break off a LOT... the math says they are a choice. But 99% of the lead flying out there is fished on soft bottom lakes from boats...... making yours the easy choice. The $1.29 baits tend to turn a 'lead gray' color after a dozen or so whites.... LOL. substandard hooks and substandard internal wire. I still have a TON of your lures. But I am headed out to th Plano store now to support your distribution efforts. Congrats. Quality work pays off!!

Just got back from Plano store on Central Expwy. Not yet. Though they did have a couple of new choices. They DID HAVE the 1/4 oz made by Bomber Lures.
They are pretty busy now with Rod Riot and deer hunting sale
I will keep checking back and pick up 4 or 5 a week for a few weeks.

See the post above. I put up a photo of a Mackeral I caught on a TNT Slab.
I see this color tied on a lot in the other photos posted here.
My fav color for all around use
White would be my second choice.

Dont know why they wouldnt be there. I cant give a definite time when they would be in there, but I figured by today they would have been there. I will give it a few more days and find out the listing of where exactly they were all sent, but they gave me the list that I posted, maybe they changed something along the way. I once told them I didnt need a whole lot of stores cause I could sell a bunch of them even with fewer stores. Will find out soon though and get back to ya, sorry they werent there.

Tried out my new TNT 180 on LL last night. The SB & Hybrids love them. I had a really nice one break off just under the boat. Now I gotta go get some more. I need to pick up about 4-6 this time. Hope they have enough (GV store).
