My girlfriend and I met Ernest this morning at Pier 121. Got right out and got to fishing. After a brief jig technique fishing lesson ( I have always used minnows) we started our catching for the day. Ernest started catching them immediatly, but we watched very close and listened and soon we got on the board also. My girlfriend caught on quickly as well. Ernest took time to help her and I to get the technique down. We fished in 15ft of water down to 5ft and found fish at almost every stop. We fished places that I would have never even tried. This trip was alot of fun and gave me the confidence that I can do this also. We ended up with 78 crappie caught, several sandies and a catfish. Ernest caught the stinkiest fish with a jig being a large shad. Not alot of keepers today but alot of fish. I should have gone out with him along time ago. Thanks again Ernest for a great day! We just got through frying them all up.

Glad ya'll enjoyed it, I learned alot from Ernest a few weeks back and have been using the knowledge ever since and it has paid off.

We did make a short stop at the new bridge. It was around noon and we caught a few there, but most were caught at our other stops, but he did show me how to fish the bridge, depths and technique. Thanks again Ernest!
