Probably the King Kat/Salt Striker combo from Cabela's. Though I may be wrong about the price.

I doesn't hold as much line as I'd like but it's nice for the price.

the saltstriker 50 series reel hold a coule hundred yards of line, more than enough for most places.

Unfortunately, the SBF-55s are sold out and "cannot be back-ordered."

That was my first combo. It's landed quite a few large carp and a buffalo over 65lbs.
Those rods are quite stiff so if you are fighting a carp you'll want to let the drag do a lot of work.
I'm very happy with that combo. I've had them for over 4 years and they are still going strong.

Cabelas is known to rebadge stuff... like the 'salt striker' attached to the combo...

There are no good ones for under 60 lol. Just save until you can afford better. Then you dont have to buy twice.

well then why do you have cabelas prediator rods and those cheap reels tracy????? lol Well, in Tracy's defense...The original poster asked for rod/reel combos under $60, Tracy told him to buy more expensive stuff because it was better quality...and those rods Tracy mentioned ( Same ones I have ) are $60 each, plus reel. ( Which for me are the Okuma EB 65's. )

The only expensive reel I've ever bought was shimano corvalus it was $90 . I had saved up for it. It broke within one week of using it.

Any rod/reel that catches the fish is a good one. I don't know why but my junk rods always get more bites than my good stuff.
