I wasn't trying to stir up trouble. I've seen a couple of threads on this page refering to building brush piles. I was curious of techniques.

Oh, no. I wasn't thinking you're stirring up trouble, just lots of different opinions on how, where, materials etc.... the very things you're wanting to know! For those who have limited access to natural materials. The "bucket-o-brush" works with just about anything that will stand upright.
